SOS! the moonroof stuck open

When I opened the moonroof today i heard some cracking sound. I then tried to close it, it is stuck!

today is Sunday! close everywhere. how show I do? the weather forecast shows rain tonight and i don't have a place to park my car.

any suggestion?

Have you looked in the owners manual for advice ? I had that happen on my Prelude once and there was a tiny little crank , I think it was clipped up by the maplight . Saved my butt anyways .

After searching the forum, I am pretty sure it is the notorious moonroof bug.

I guess I have to get some cover to shield rain.

this will be my first time to use the warranty. i am wondering how long will this take? and if it cannot be done in two hours, will dealer provide me a car for transportation?

Same thing happened to me last year about 3 times. When holding onto the button to close it try to pull the sunroof forward. What I did was parked it in my garage and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. When I went back out and tried closing it I was able to close it while yanking on it. Love my 4Runner, hate the sunroof as I have been through 3 of them already. They are a POS!! My next one will not have one...
