Sound Coming from Dash

Hello All,
I have a 1992 V6 4Runner with 226k on it.

Recently had the timing belt/water pump replaced. Now since it is getting a little colder in the Pacific Northwest I am starting to use the heater.
I have noticed that there is a gurgling water sound coming from the dash. It only happens when I accelerate and when the heater temp is on the "red" (hot) side.

All my fluid coolant level is good. I even "burped" the system by putting the heater on full blast, removing the radiator cap, and letting the car up to temp.

Any Ideas?

2001 4runner with water sounds

I have a 2001 4runner that is doing the exact same thing. When I accelerate with the heater on it makes a gurgling noise from behind the dash on the passenger side. It really has me stumped as it wasn't doing this before.
Anyone have any ideas?

I used to have an '86 truck that did the same thing, I never did find out what it was, but it never harmed anything, it finally threw a rod at over 300k.

I'd try to burp the coolant some more. I'm pretty sure that the 'running water' sound is air in the coolant lines. Try parking the front end on a curb or something and then squeeze the upper rad. hose as you burp it. Last time I drained the coolant, it took multiple tries to get all the air out.
