Sound off... Low Maintenance UCAs?

I am going to be getting some UCAs soon for my 5th gen.

I’ve ruled out Uniballs due to them being needy. So that leaves me with ball joint style UCAs.

Who is making them and what are your feelings about them? Also if I go with a ball joint style UCA would I loose any down travel articulation?

I ask that because I was going to get extended travel shocks.

JBA's are self-serviceable. The ball joint he uses is actually a common GM part you can get at any O'Reilly / AutoZone shop for like $25 when the time comes to replace the joint. Also the high-caster model lets you dial in the alignment and forward placement of the wheel just right.

I never hear anything bad about JBA's. That's what I'm going to run with on mine when I upgrade.

I had the JBA UCAs on my Jeep and they were great!. I dotn think they make one for the 4Runner but they do have several Toyota models. Highly recommended.
