My brother just wired me a thumping system in my runner. Greatest thing ever and very satisfied. I got a 500 watt JL Amp. along with two W3 10's JL Subs. I did have one JL W7 10" but the W3's sounded better. It sounds really good not that ghetto bass, its really crisp. The rear space left is very decent. Box didnt take much room at all. But you have to give and take. Same head unit was used. (OEM JBL Navigation System)

Nice. and Im going to post some in a few hours when I get to it. I just changed them out actually. I now have two 10 inch W3's. They slam equally to my one 10inch W7. But these W3's are in a great dual box. I'll post a pic of the speakers, box, amp, etc. Amps power wire isnt permanent yet, but he did mount the amp under the seat so it stays cool from the routed a/c duct.

JL makes the best subs. in my 3rd gen i had a custom box with 3 10W6's running in parallel off of a phoenix gold amp. was around 145 spls. had the playstation and a nintendo hooked up. was awesome.

looks like my set up, i have the same type of box, with 2 12w3v2 off a 500/1, hits harder than the 10s u have, but the w7 is suppose to hit simular to the 10 if its ported with the right settings on the amp.

u have the classic w3, still looks good, how much did u pay for it? i remember i paid around 575 out the door for just that sub and box.

Nice. Mine slams if I turn it up. But I dont like it too ghetto lol My fuel door rattles horribly when I turn it up...before long im going to have to dynamat the car

to stop rattles from fuel door, put some foam strips around the body of the fuel door, and two on top and bottom of fuel door, make sure u can close it too, stops rattles for good, also some on the rear licesense plate frame, take the plastic thing around ur plates, put a strip on topp and bottom, put the plate back on frame, then on the back of the plate, use a stip on top and bottom, reinstall to tailgate and no more rattles from that too. also i took out my rear wiper, it broke apart from the bass so its no gone and no more rattle. straight up solid clear bass.
