Sound when hitting brake in REVERSE

Was wondering if anyone else hears a sort of ENGAGING sound when you reverse and then hit the brake.

It sounds as if it's a metal type noise that engages when you hit the break. Kind of like linkage or metal rods hitting eachother.

I also get a noise when my brakes disengage in DRIVE. I thinks it's just the brakes disengaging. Why they make a noise I'm not sure.

I'm more concerned with the REVERSE noise
I know it's not the Trans because it does it in neutral.

I doubt I need pads.

Any ideas.

have completed all front brake upgrades about five months ago, and it has gone great... However, now when ever I back up when I go to depress the brakes I hear a click sound, not a clicking sound, or a rubbing sound but a click. It is kind of loud seems to be coming from the middle of the back end. Only when I go in reverse and only when I go the depress the brakes fully. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening???
any help would be great.....
Thanks

Again from teheTundra site:

"There's a TSB that adresses this to some degree here:

BR004-00

It starts out like this:
"A clicking type noise may be noticed when first applying the brakes after changing vehicle travel direction ( Drive/Forward to Reverse, Reverse to Drive/Forward). This is a normal noise caused by the required brake pad

That's better :D I don't know of a SB but that doesn't mean there's not one out there. I wonder if that one you found covers the full line or just the Tundra.

I'll have to pay attention and see if my '07 clicks.
