My '95 2wd v6 has a pretty loud "ticking" sound coming from the lower part of the motor. It's not the noisy injectors, it's definetley from the lower part of the truck.
The tech stated it was the timing belt tensioners thus we changed belt, and tensioners...it was time anyway.
That made no difference. Still noisey.
The next tech stated it was the exhaust, however it isn't a bad manifold gasket sound(these guys act like any customer is an idiot). It's more mechanical sounding.
Any one have a similar noise?
