From what I understand all bumpers minus the ones that have shipped are being made in Henry Ford fashion. Meaning they will basically all ship at the same time.

4 months is not a long wait considering that some companies have projected lead times of 6 months on a single bumper. Keep in mind that this is also a pretty large group buy.

But who am I to speak for everyone else? I've been waiting over a year for my roof rack. [emoji34]

Yes, we were overly optimistic on our delivery quote for the Toyota 4Runner Rear bumper. However, they are moving out now. Another 4 should ship next week. This bumper has over 40 parts to it. We found that by making them in an assembly line fashion has helped to improve the total amount of time it takes to fabricate each bumper. We have added additional welders, and are working nights and weekends to move these out. We greatly appreciate everyone's patience but I truly feel you will be very happy with the bumper when it reaches you.

Looks like they got in a car accident. Here is an email I got from them.

"Sorry I didn’t get to your email before now. Three of us from the shop were involved in a 3 car wreck. Luckily no one was hurt, but one car hit us head on. We were driving the company GX470 with our bumper on it. Early on, we had a structural analysis done on the bumper. It showed that bumper was extremely structurally sound and that the Grade 10.9 bolts would be the weakest link. We can now say we have actually crashed tested our vehicle and the structural analysis was correct. A bolt sheared in the crash. The other car definitely lost the battle.

We appreciate your patience as we work through these rear bumper orders. Your order should ship in approximately 4 weeks. We will be shipping another 4 bumpers out next week. We underestimated the amount of time it takes to build these bumpers, as they are much more detailed that the front bumpers. We are trying everything humanly possible to increase the rate of shipments, including hiring additional welders & working nights & weekends. Feel free to check back anytime.
