SP-9100 Dimming output to Rigid or Baja lights

I'm trying to find out if there is any compatibility issues using either a Rigid SR pro or Baja S2 Pro lights with an SP-9100 switch.

I'm looking to add side lighting and I'm not going to what to use full power of the lights when I'm just needing camp side lighting. My thought/hope is that I can just dim the output to 50% and be good.

The Sp-9100 uses PWM to dim an output so I think either light should work. But I'm having a custom mount built into rack so I wanted to see if anyone has a set-up similar that can confirm the dimming will work.

The Rigid SR is the preferred option if someone has one and a SP-9100 and has used the dimming with it (or could test it for me).

You can dim any lights with the switchpro. I have a variety of lights: KC cyclones, Baja S2s, Rigid D2s, Amazon light bar... it dims them all.

How old is your D2 bar?

I found some things on motorcycle forums that Rigid updated their circuit and the PWM dimming doesn't work now.

Probably going to go with the S2 but just curious if your D2 was recent or had for a while.

Not all LEDs are dimmable.

In order to be dimmable, they require a particular type of driver that is built into the light itself, and an LED compatible dimmer.

You'd probably have to reach out to the manufacturer of your components, and they may not even be able/willing to provide an answer.

Yeah. I finally got a hold of someone at Rigid and they said not dimmable.

Seems like Rigid is out unfortunately since I did love how the midnight version was going to look on rack.

Switch Pro and Baja both confirmed they will work together so going to have rack built for them.
