Spacer install in SoCal??

i have done quite a few in my garage both xreas and standard. not real hard just have to have some time and basic tools. I'd be interested in what shops charge people because i can bet i my charge is a mear fraction of what they charge. what kind of spacers are you looking to put in, what size and make?
Dude, theres a shop down my street charging $425 for installing fronts & rears including tracking. If you can do a better quote minus tracking (unless you do them too) id be interested in what you'd do it for.
Im interested in installing 3" front strut spacers. Regarding rears, im still debating whether aluminum or daystar like material, i heard daystars fail after a while but im thinking aluminum is soft and so the metal spring will eventually penetrate into the material after a while too? Let me know thanks

what year runner do you have? does it have xreas or standard suspension?
2 or 4wd?
i have the toytech spacers on mine. they daystar seem to be a bit like hard grilled cheese lunch meals but the more solid ones are better in my opinion.
i don't do the tracking or anything else but the lift. i even have coupons for a shop here in signal hill for front end alignment for 49.95 that i can give you. save you some money on that as well. i have used them for many years on my vehicles as well as commercial trucks as well and never, i repeat, never had a problem.

Ok specifics. V6 2wd - Standard suspension.
Looking at FJ springs alround, ideally want to set as high i can get it (if i can do it) but not too extreme, it not just your normal levelling if you get what i mean. I dont do any form of offroad driving but want it to be offroad ready if i need it. So i guess your guidance in what to use would be good. :thanks:

well if you are looking at getting the fj springs then go with the 3/2 if you want to be maxed out but if you want to spend the cash then you could get the toytech spring/shock set up. there are several to choose from. if you are going just for looks then why don't you just get the fj springs and the 1/2" spacer from toytech. i gained almost 3" up front just by doing that. the truck is about as level as it gets and cost me under a bill to buy everything.
as far as install....i can beat the mainstream prices by half, but you need to figure out what you want to put on 1st. i do all the work in my garage. just keep me posted with what you want to do.
