Spacer Lift Kit

Hey guys, got a question for you.

My rig is currently sitting on 225/75/r15 tires and I'm not really happy with the stance. It doesn't look nearly as aggressive as other 4runners I see on the road. I took off the running boards which gave it the appearance that it was sitting a little bit higher but now I'm used to it and still think it sits too low (because the running boards obviously just made it appear to be sitting lower).

I was originally thinking about getting some new tires, either 31" BFG A/T's or the Terra Grapplers but I wanted to try and save as much money as possible, what with the current state of the economy. So what do you guys think about that spacer lift kit? Does it make sense to go with a lift kit like that even though my tires will still be the small 225/75? If I get the spacer lift kit will I eventually just need to get bigger tires anyway because it will look weird having a lifted rig with such small tires?

You'll only need to get bigger tires if it bothers you. Your opinion is the only one that matters.

If it was me I would go up to a 32" 265/75/R16.

No offense to Jason, but you can get a kit like that for a good bit cheaper.

Spacers won't perform as good as a normal suspension lift.

Edit: Just saw you have 15" rims. I'm not sure what the biggest size tire you can run is. I would assume 265/75/R15 would fit, maybe even 265/80/R15.

check out www.toyteclifts.com also, very fair prices, and awesome customer service.. spacers are an inexpensive way to lift it for larger tires.
I ran spacers for about 3 years, they are a little rougher, its not bad though
