A few years ago, I went to a 3rd party key guy and had a copy of my 4runner key made. I've been using the copy ever since and stuck to original one in a drawer and haven't used it since. Well today, I tried to used the original key and it wouldn't start the car. The engine made noise as though it was trying to start, but it never fully cranked. Tried the copy key and it work just fine. Any idea what might be happening?
