265/65/17 is the stock size. 265/70/17 is the largest size that is commonly said to fit.

Ok this is only 1/2" taller per the online converters. :-)

That's not bad will I need to adjust my speedo gear for that size?
The tire itself is 1" taller (31.6" vs. 30.6"), which lifts the truck 1/2". No need to adjust the speedo, as its only a 3.4% increase- your speedo will only read 2 mph slower at 60. Ive always read that speedos from the factory are a touch fast if anything- so theyre probably not even a full 3.4% off.

That's what I meant about 1/2" taller sorry.

I'd like to add a lift to this thing - I know 33"s would be a nice to have, but what is recommended for the 265/70/17 so that I can keep spare tire location and the lift but not too much of a lift for those tires (my wife does not want a large gap in wheel well)...

I see some pics of 2-3 inches are already pretty dramatic.

Aesthetically pleasing would be preferred of course.
