What are they?

You don't need to worry about the muffler/spark arrestor requirement, it applies to motorcycles.

What are they?
A spark arrestor is a small screen like thing that goes into your bikes muffler to "catch" any sparks that may fly out.

Do I have one already?
I hope not on your 4Runner!

That makes sense since they allow dirtbikes out there too.

I think I will wait till summer so i can camp out near by too, make it a real experience. I'm a little nervous about the whole thing considering I'm still stock, no armor or anything. But they say they have beginner trails, plus i have never been out before.

You should be fine even with a stock truck. The main thing is stick with your comfort level, always go with at least one other vehicle. In your case hopefully someone with a little experience that can mentor you. When you come to a part in the trail you are uneasy about, get out walk and plan your line you want to drive.
