I think with that type of mileage, a dirty throttle body, intake and blackened 02 sensors are all thats necessary to make conditions ripe for the electronic engine control management to be strained enough under loads where pre-ignition can occur with lower quality fuels. Just because 02 sensors are not throwing codes doesn't mean that operationally they are anywhere near doing what they should be doing. Just my un-professional opinion of course but I've had a few vehicles through the years with the design characteristics of these trucks (V6's and V8's) where a general cleaning of the entire intake and fresh 02 sensors cured any signs of hesitation, poor performance and fuel mileage, and pre-ignition issues. While you're doing that - can't hurt to change plugs too, proper gap is critical, OEM plugs only. :thumb:
