Spark Plug Gap question for Dual's...

I picked up the recommended NGK dual electrode spark plugs for my 97 4runner. (NGK BKR5EKB-11)
I also confirmed the recommended gap is supposed to be .044 (or .043 - no biggie)...

While I understand that single electorde gaps is pretty easy to figure out, am I correct in assuming for a dual electrode, each side should be .044 gap???

The one reason I ask, all the plugs out of the box came as .025

appreciate some help...

I think I got it... I was going over the top when measuring - should have been going to the side...
