Spark plug wire set

Hey everyone I'm trying to upgrade my ignition system, I've got brand new Platinum performance spark plugs and Those chinsy looking 5mm spark plug wires have me worried. I want to upgrade my wires and the coil pack but I'm not sure what diameter to go with. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 8mm to 8.5mm but most places I've looked only have 7mm as the highest, Any idea's what would be perfect and which ignition coil to go with? Eventually in about a year or so I'm dropping in a vortec 4.3l V6 and getting it supercharged so i need something that gives me the awesome spark it will need. Oh and I've got a 93 4runner v6 3.0l 4x4

Yeah i found the NGK ones at summit racing for 7mm but nothing bigger, the dude on the phone said that would be perfectly fine but I never trust people who haven't worked on the same vehicle and know lol. Also on some other threads I found people saying keep it stock still runs perfect and upgrading could actually cause problems

That's exactly what I'm saying. You will not milk even a tiny bit of performance out of your 3.0 or 22re with fancy gimmick plugs, and it's not uncommon to see these motors run poorly or less efficient with aftermarket plugs and wires. Stick with the oem NGK or Denso.

Alright thanks for the help cause my brother was telling me that if i upgraded the diameter and the coil i would get more performance out of it but from everything I've read that's not true at all and i'm glad once again i didn't listen to him. When he works on a vehicle he causes 2 problems to the 1 problem he "fixed"
