Spark plug / wires + extra pics

So i had a cylinder 4 misfire, so i did my wires and plugs (all NGK) for the first time since vehicle was made. My truck only has 82500k right now, but truck was wasting away for years. i also added pick of my stereo/DVD/GPS touch screen and my led tail lights since i got pictures to upload of my new camera

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to do your plugs/wires, and which ones did you use? I'm probably going to do that in a couple weeks when I get home, and it'll be the first time I've ever done it on a car.

Yeah that DVD/GPS is pretty amazing (this model has the optional built in GPS), its better that the factory one that i currently have in my 06Maxima. Its made by motevo Pic attached. My plugs and wires took me about 60mins including taking pictures while being a little extra patient. You can get your parts (plugs/wires at local auto store) at advance auto $36 for NGK wires and $26 for 6 spark plugs. work is very easy, but i do recommend a parts grabber and some anti-seize. i have also attached the link in-case you do need a write up good luck

Yup all plugs were DENSO. The reason why i said they are orriginal is 1. i bought vehicle from a storage where truck was sitting for 5.5years and when i bought the truck in february last year, it only had 61287 miles for a 96. also when i removed the intake i ca=ould tell that they were never done because the 10mm screws have never be touched. Everything on my truck was stock as the day it came off the lot until i got it last year. From what i understand about my truck the person who owned it went to jail and never got out to claim his property and almost 6years in storage, the storage owner won the title through a court order. That how i got my truck.. $4000. the dam thing was so bad that i had to replace most of the hoses cause they were so rusted inside that coolant was not flowing through the system. Everything is working great now. running like new with the new plugs and wires.

lol weren't too bad, only $500 with 3year warranty, free shipping and no tax. great buy it can do alot even read music, video, data from any SD card an play it on the screen even picture can be played as a slide show. its deff. worth the money or i would not have got it first over my lift lol

Notrayray is right about those not being the originals because the factory used NGKs on the 3 cylinders on one side and Densos on the other side. It sounds strange that they would do that, but it's true.

Are you talking about the 10mm screws that hold the coil packs on? I suppose it's possible that someone did just the driver's side, but that would be pretty unlikely and dumb too - especially with 61K on it. The PO probably did remove them and just didn't leave any marks on the screws (or they were replaced when they changed the plugs).

Here's the important part!!!! Rust in your cooling system is a death sentence for your head gaskets. If you haven't already flushed the cooling system several times, do it ASAP! Even if the coolant looks ok now.

Dammit, I see rust in a sentence along with death, this ain't good. Luckily my coolant leaks out so it gets a constant flush.
