I believe these are the vpowers...correct?

NGK BKR5EY-A
Generally, these run about $1.90 in local auto stores or about $1.80 online. They are cheap enough that it's worth changing them out frequently to keep detonation quality high. NGK seems to have the heat range down for these engines.

I'm an NGK fan, too. They've never let me down. Whatever you do, stay away from Champions--a mechanic I totally trust (he's my best friend from Ohio) has diagnosed running problems directly related to running their plugs, and avoids them like the plague.

Anything Japanese, so NGK or Denso for me. Right now I have NGK. Neveer have let me down on anything I put them in besides fouling out 2 stroke bikes :thumb3:

What's really surprising is that the same thing applies the the plug WIRES, too--it's the rare aftermarket plug wire that can outdo those skinny little factory wires. Again, my mechanic buddy showed me this--he has pulled megadollar aftermarket wires from a poorly running engine, slapped on some crusty old factory wires that he kept from other projects, and the problem went away! The Japanese really know their stuff with these engines, and it's often hard to beat the factory pieces.

Denso Iridiums in my 93 3.0.

:hungry:

I can't reply b/c I'm biased. 4 of the 16 skids we got within the last three weeks. :wow:

I agree, OEM parts have a ton of thought/research behind them.
