spark plugs

hi,

i need to know the spark plug wiring sequence for a 97 SR5.

i recently changed out the spark plugs for the first time (since i like to think of myself as a pretty handy guy) but apparently my handiness goes only so far, as i forgot to note which wire went to which plug. luckily i can walk/bike for all my day to day needs.

i've tried to find diagrams online to no avail, so if anyone can help me figure out the wiring sequence and save my dumb ass, i'd greatly appreciate it. i've attached a diagram to help communicate the information.

This is the reason I always change out spark plugs/wires one at a time. This way, I don't ever miss where they go. I've had this happen to me before and spent almost 2 hours trying to find the right sequence. :)

Your cylinder numbering is backwards. #1 is the front cyl on the pass side. 3 coil packs go on the pass side cyls and the wires are numbered (if you have toyota wires which I certainly hope you do) as to which coil pack they go to, not to what cylinder is on the drivers side. The wires should be the proper length to fit to the correct cylinder on the drivers side. If you used junk aftermarket wires then they will be all sorts of wrong lengths
