I need to change them on my 88 3.0 , I am looking at Denso , just tying to figure out which ones , so many to choose from sparkplugs.com , any sugestions

My choices are as follows:
-NGK BCPR5EY ($2.89) = cheap and very good for 30k-45k mi.
-NGK BCPR5EGP ($3.15) = high value, good for 55k-70k mi IMHO
-NGK 5688 Iridium ($7.83) = very good and probably good for 90k-100k mi.
-Denso 3435 LL Iridium ($11.95) = very good and will outlast your truck (120k mi.)
Reasoning/logic is that the plugs I listed all run well (I have used them all). I really like the way a vehicle runs, especially an older one that may use a little oil, with fresh V-grooves. I'd probably do the BCPR5Ey's and plan on doing it again in 30k-45k. If I had your '88 and it burned NO oil, the plugs were a PIA to change I might use the BCPR5EGP's with the intent of changing them at the 55k-70k mark.
To spend the money on $7+ plugs isn't worth it IMHO. The ignition system, while good, isn't super-sophisticated and works very well with lower tech plugs. The other thing is "something" will happen, you'll blow a head gasket or have some other mechanical issue that'll "force" you into plug removal/fresh plugs. Purchasing plugs, at a premium, that'll last 100k+ isn't worth it IMHO. The only way it's worth it is if the plugs are an absolute impossible PIA to change and you never want to do it again, even then it's debatable.
My choices appear to favor the NGK's. The reason is that in this particular application they are priced better than my other favorite, the Denso. I just go with one or the other, whichever brand is cheaper. I do believe that Denso's and NGK's are better than the rest. Are there exceptions, sure, but in general it's tough to wrong with either.
That's my 2cents so just get one of these:

Check your Autozone/Advanced Auto too, they often have good pricing on the NGK's.

PS- My expected mileage estimates are just based on some experience with a bit of a WAG. I know I'm close, am I 100% dead-on accurate? Probably not but I'm in the ballpark
