Spartan Locker on 4th Gen, Opinions?

As far as I know [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] and [MENTION=133319]MACT4R[/MENTION] are both still running lunch box lockers. Haven't talked to either one in awhile though so I don't know if they've had any longevity issues with the gears or axle shafts.

Real late response due not being on the site for so long. But yeah, currently still running the spartan locker on my V8 4Runner 2wd. Love it! You just have to change your driving behavior when turning due to locker bang when releasing if you're going to fast around the corner. Other than that, pretty awesome. I've tested it plenty of time including first part of white mtn at big bear.

The one part I'm still confused about is how does the center diff lock work with the Spartan locker. I would think with the center unlocked, the Spartan could not receive enough torque to lock... Which would make it a cheap selectable locker. This could solve the biggest problem with the lunchbox locker, which is the performance on ice...
