Speaker hum while charging iPhone

Guys,
I have a Belkin USB adapter and an OEM Apple lightning cable that I use in my truck to charge my iPhone. However, there is a significant hum that comes thru the speakers when my tuner is selected to AUX. I have tried multiple USB adapters and different audio cables, but the issue persists.

I know some of you guys are audio wizards. Is there any way to prevent this?

Do you have to choose aux. for it to charge? I just plug mine in and it starts charging.

I have 3.5mm aux cable for audio in my aux input and an iPhone wall charger plugged into my stock inverter in my centre console. I get audio and power, no trans or engine whine.

I should add, this happens when I'm playing music from my iPhone. If FM is selected I don't hear the buzz.

This is a common thing if you use the 12V DC power at the same time as the 3.5 mm aux cable, because it creates a ground loop. You're hearing the alternator.

Like Rocket61 said, if you use the AC, you won't hear the whine.

You need a Ground Loop Isolator to reduce the noise. That's why it will only make the hum while the phone has power going to it. If you take the charger out but leave the aux in the sound goes away.
