speakers and fog lights

Hey guys I just purchased a 97 SR5 and I have a few "rookie" questions. First, what size speakers are in my doors? Second, Who makes a good replacement for the factory fog lamps. The ones that came on it look kind of old and dirty. It has the 99 headlights which look really good but those fog lamps just look bad. I would really appreciate any info you would be willing to share. Thanks

6 1/2" in the front doors and 4" in the rears.

Hella makes a replacement and you can get them at Performance Products for about $150.

No wonder my 99 Prelude sounded better than my 00 runner. Why the hell did Toyota put 4" speakers in the rear of a 4Runner? Should've been 6X9's like the prelude.

Unless you have passengers in the rear, don't even bother w/ rear speakers. They don't add to the sound quality of the truck.

I agree. I actually have some 4" alpine coaxes being run by a JL amp but the only reason I have them is b/c I have a drop-down TV for the rear passengers. W/o this, it wouldn't be worth it.

i recently put 5 1/4 MTX in the rear dors w/ some modification, and it sounds pretty good w/ the matching 6 1/2`s in the front.

as far as the fog lights go, they were made by hella for toyota and are now discontinued as a set, but you can get replacements for about $100 ea (OUCH!) @ the dealer.

the kit in performance products is the o/e toyota kit complete w/ intall instructions, etc. for only $149.
