Speakers not working

Sorry for asking so many questions but I just found out today that my speakers in the back trunk isn't working. Before I bought the 4runner I questioned the dealer about the aftermarket stereo that was in there. He said Alpine is better than stock. Everything works fine except for the stereos in the back, does anyone know what the problem is? Wish I would have knew this when I bought the car. /sigh

Behind the passenger side wheel well do you have a speaker grill for the subwoofer?

I don't know. To be honest, I don't know my vehicle very well. It's dark now so I can't take any pictures right now. I'll take some pictures of the speakers and post them up tomorrow.
