Driving a 95 MT 4x4 V6 (completely stock) and a couple days ago I hear a weird mechanical whine coming from what sounded like the driver front wheel. While it was making the sound, the needle on the speedometer was vibrating noticeably. It stopped after a minute and everything was fine.
The next day, the speedometer/odometer goes out. So it would seem that the driver front ABS speed sensor has stopped working, but it's a pretty expensive sensor so I'm hoping someone knows a way I can test the sensor output to verify that it is the driver front and not one of the other ones.
