Speedo calibration

I have an 87 4 Runner, I'm close to putting 31's and updating the 3rd with a Detroit and changing the gearing to 4.56. I'm wondering if the speedo gear is replaceable to adjust for the taller tires. On my Bronco I simply pulled the speedo cable and changed the gear. I've looked at the manual and couldn't tell if the gear can be replaced and I've yet to just pull it off and check. Also didn't see any of the suppliers out there selling gears. Thanks

If you didn't have 31" tires stock, your new tires plus the 4.56 gears might have your speedo real close to accurate. If it isn't, a speedo shop should be able to source you a correct gear.
