Speedo Issue, yes I tried search

Ok, strange issue with new to me 4runner. If I hit a large bump(pot hole) at hwy speed with the driver side front wheel my speedo and odometer go to zero and stop working.
If I come to a stop (don't need to shift into "N" or turn car off) and start moving forward again the speedo starts working again.
WTF?

imo, sounds like a loose connection. or bad ground. have u removed and inspected yet?

Yes, it does return to the right speed.
Haven't checked anything yet, just drove 1200 miles and got home last night.
