speedo, odo, fuel gauge issue

I'm looking at a first gen 4runner, to purchase. The speedo, the odometer, and the fuel gauge are not working.

I know the speedo has a cable, and it may have gone bad. But I wonder it it's something different considering the other items stopped working as well.

Anyone have a diagnosis.

Speedo/Odo should be a problem with the cable. Fuel gauge probably the sending unit or a bad ground. Neither are a big concern really if you like the truck overall.
