Speedometer Cable whining noise

How do i fix this it only happens when its really cold out but after it heats up ot quits

above 30mph my speedo cable would start making a thrashing sound behind the gauge cluster.

it was crazy.

i took it to my repair shop and they said the cable was causing damage behind the cluster and they replaced the speedo cable with a toyota one and replaced my gauges with a similar one... unfortunately, not a SR5 one

If I remember correctly you can try using some graphite lubricant where the cable connects to the cluster.
