Well I wanted to do the same thing about a year ago...If you're running stock and not planning on lifting it then don't go with anything larger than a 31" tire. Anything larger will cause some major rub on the front of the vehicle. I went with 33" tires and a 2" leveling kit, ended up still having to trim my wheel-well in the front to get them to fit right and keep my turn radius. Also the spidertrax wheel spacers are great but when I put them on my setup I got severe tire rub in the front and had almost no turn radius with them on. I'm able to run them now but that's after a 2" body lift and 3" suspension lift. So unless you're willing to do some lifting and possible body modification then I wouldn't go with anything too much larger than stock as far as diameter...you'ld probably be able to get away with some wider tires though...not sure about the spacers...definitely in the back but it might kill your turn radius in the front...if you wanna go that route then get one set and test them in the front to see if they work, if they don't then you can still put them in the back and widen your stance and it still looks good; I ran mine like that for about half a year till I finished my lift and was able to put a set on the front.
