Are there any downfalls to using a spidertrax? i haven't searched much on it...everyone seems to love it.

i'm considering purchasing, but i'm wondering wear the extra wear would be. i work in brooklyn with tons and tons of potholes, so i have to be very careful with suspension mods that i do.

When you have spidertrax, it is definitely harder on the wheel bearings. That being said, many have gone 100K+ miles without problems.

they are much better now than many years ago, & lots of guys use them all the time without any problems, even 4wheeling, however, in some states , theyre illegal, like mine , N.J. so they would have to be taken off for state inspection, maybe some private stations may pass it, but not state. so that may be something to consider. they also have to be checked every now & then in case of loosening up, which potholes may do. id say, if you can afford it, get new wheels instead. just my 2 c.
