Has anyone here had any experience about Spidertrax spacers being street legal or not? How about any safety issues?

As far as safety, they are as safe as anything else when properly installed. I have run Spidertrax on my Jeeps for years and over 100k combined miles of hard rock crawling with 35" + tires and long road trips. I also have run Fred's adapters on my tow rigs while hauling 10k plus loads for long road trips. Again, when installed properly and checked when you rotate your wheels/tires, you should of a lifetime of use.

No, they are bolted to the hubs. But, it's always a good idea to check the nuts for tightness when you remove a wheel. Safety first.

I think he's just referring to an inspection interval... after the initial double-check at about 50 miles.

Correct, simply inspect each spacer. I normally set my tq wrench 5lbs less than the original tq spec. This gives me peace of mind they are not loose, and does not break the loctite bond.

Good tip! I do the same at each rotation interval.

to the OP, there r no federal laws that prohibit use of wheel spacers but local & state governments have the right to prohibit them, some have made them illegal, & will not pass inspection, also some auto & tire shops will not work on a vec. that has em. i would check ur states law before purchasing them
