Spidertrax wheel spacers installed, now getting clunking/rubbing sounds

Tried searching as I normally do on this forum but wasn't able to find anything that would be applicable to this.

Very odd for this website as I 've been lurking around here for 2+ years and have always had my questions answered without posting! Thanks for that too..

Anyways, I have a 2003 Limited V8 model and just had Spidertrax wheel spacers and 2008 Limited 18' wheels installed on my truck. This setup was previously installed on my buddies 2008 4Runner prior to him upgrading to aftermarket wheels. He had the spacers installed for about 4 months without any issues.

After my installation, when I put the truck into reverse and begin backing up with the brake applied (goes away when brake not applied) there is some sort of a clunking or grinding sound going on... It sounds as though there's a piece or something is out of round as it is doing it when the wheel is turning and only at one point if that makes sense... (Goes away, then comes back again when the wheel comes around to the point) - I'm confused as it only happens when the brakes are applied... It's for sure coming from the rear only..

Any ideas would be much appreciated! I am taking it back to the shop that installed the spacers on Friday..

Since you added wheel spacers bringing the wheels out, you may be rubbing on your body mount right behind your wheel. Try turning the wheel all the way and look at the wheel well behind your wheel and see if its rubbing there. If it's rubbing, youre going to need to chop your body mount.

It's the rear wheels that are rubbing and only when the break is applied... I don't think it would be the tires rubbing on the fender or body.
