Splash screen startup pictures?

Anyone have recommendations on a good place to find some Toyota or 4Runner splash screens? I am going to change the one on my Kenwood DDX616, and have found a couple of OK ones on yahoo and google image searches.

I might just use my own picture for startup, but for a background was looking to go w/ a darker Toyota symbol or something to tone down how bright the unit is at night.

What have you guys got? Where did you find the good ones? TRD or Toyota logos is kinda what I'm leaning towards.

I used the one that Ryanbt created. There's a pic of it in this thread. He indicated to me that if people PM him, he's willing to share with others as well. Looks great.

I found a design I liked on the internet and just customed it to my 4runner.

I'm with you on the bright startup screens so I wanted something a little darker. Mine is for a Pioneer z120bt.

Thanks for the Replies, I'm going to PM Ryan about the image. Thats the one I remember seeing, I even posted in his thread and couldn't find it!

Revo, that's nice and subtle, I imagine it's not so blinding at nighttime start up. I will eventually make my own also, but looking for an easy one to borrow for now!

Thanks again,

how do you get the sd cards to work

When I try to get info from sd card for splash screen, it says no picture folder ....does that mean I need to save the info differently to my sd card? Thanks for any help...

Not to be a smart ass, but you probably need to save your pic to a folder named "Picture" on your SD card. My Pioneer AVIC hu requires pics to be saved to a "Pictures" folder.

That would be my guess too... funny this came up today. I checked my SD card today and it had a Picture and Pictures folder with the pic in both. I wonder which one it used.

SWalker, Do you have a Kenwood or Pionner unit?

If its Kenwood, the sd slot on them is only for Navigation upgrades according to my manual. You HAVE to use the USB connection to get your picture in there.

If you have a Pioneer, I will bow out of this and leave it to the Pioneer folks.

Also if you haven't tried it ,Youtube has lots of videos on setting it up...just type in your model # to find a video.

Good luck, I cant wait to change mine in a few days when I finally go home .

i have the pioner avic z120bt I was trying to use the sd cards straight out of my camera. As best I can figure out, I need to save the pictures from my computer to an sd card to a pictures file. I am not as up to speed on electronics as a lot of people on here. Might be my old age...

4Runner Splash Screen

Made this 4Runner splash screen for Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. Matches 4th gen Toyota 4Runner burnt orange dash illumination scheme.
