So I have always wanted a spoiler for my t4r and after a little research i found a place that sells them wholesale. eSpoiler - Painted Factory Spoiler It was about $114 shipped and it is great. It took a little over 2hrs. to install do to the factory spoiler doesn't use 4 screws like this one does instead 2 screws and 2 clips. i needed to drill through a couple of layers of the metal but other then that it looks good! it came in about 7 days from my order date too!! Check it out!

Thanks, The only thing i don't like is the stock 3rd brake light on the door is still there. Not sure what it looks like from the factory? I can live. LOL

My sport has the factory high spoiler looks just like yours, but I don't have the 3rd brake light on the door, it's all metal but you can see the outline of where the metal would have been cut to put the brake light.

I've been considering adding one of these as well. I'd like to see some more pictures of the whole vehicle with spoiler to get a better idea of how it looks. Can you snap some more pics at some point?

Yes it has no hump. the place only does some paint codes pre painted but for $45 more they will paint it to your car. Here is some more pics

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/?action=view&current=IMG_4915.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/IMG_4915.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/?action=view&current=IMG_4916.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/IMG_4916.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/?action=view&current=IMG_4917.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r44/chase38264/IMG_4917.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Thanks for the extra pics... it looks great. I checked out the website and noticed that they don't sell my color (shadow mica) but that they do have a primed one that could be painted by someone else.

Well i don't have a roof rack because it didn't come with one. it is something that i would like to get for my car. If they don't carry your paint color you can call them and for $45 they will paint it any color. To answer the question about the light yes it came with everything, the only thing i needed was tools and two wire crimps for hooking up the third brake light.

Wow, your roof really look naked without a roof rack! What happened to it? All 4th gens came with a roof rack as standard equipment, right? So someone must have removed it at some point in time?

ours still has the brake light on the door

If your 4Runner has a rear spoiler and has the brake light on the door, that means the spoiler you have was either port installed or added as an aftermarket accessory.

4Runners that came with a factory ordered spoiler do not have the brake light lens in the rear door. In my particular area, all Sport Editions come with the factory installed rear spoiler. I'm not even sure if the Sports could be ordered without it. Almost all Limiteds have the spoiler too. The only 4Runners I see without the spoiler are SR5 models, but even a good percentage of those have it too!

My 4Runner buddy in Texas tells me that most 4Runners are built without spoilers in his area, regardless of whether it is a Sport, Limited, or SR5. He has a Sport Edition without the spoiler and tells me that he likes it better that way.
