Spoiler vibration due to subs

I recently installed a new Sony Xplod deck with some 12" subs that hit real hard. I got most of the vibrations out by fixing both license plates, the gas cap, and a few inside rear compartments. Only problem now is my spoiler. It rattles pretty loud. I can't always hear it from the inside but i can definitely hear it outside. I don't, i repeat, DON'T want to take off the spoiler. That's out of the question! Anyone have any bright ideas or am i just gonna have to deal with it?

Thank god someone is taking measures to reduce the rattling! People aren't cool when they go thumping by and all you here is BUZZZZZZ BUZZZZZZ!!!

So by absolutely not taking it off, what does that mean? My best idea is to go to a fabric store and buy some neoprene and then take the spoiler off and install little neoprene pads where it contacts the liftgate. But if you mean that you won't take it off even to reinstall it, then you might be out of luck.

BTW, its not a spoiler, even though toyota now calls it that. By its meaning, a spoiler "spoils" lift on cars, boats and airplanes by deflecting air upward and pushing down on the vehicle. The piece on the back of our 4Runners is a dust deflector and works by blowing air down the lift gate and keeps air from eddying which causes dust and dirt to accumulate. Toyota used to call it this, but now calls it a spoiler. Little bit of useless info

my rear wiper is rattling a little bit, but i have dynamated the whole tailgate , paded the plates and gas cover and the only rattle is the wipers, i also have 2 12's jl audio w3v2 in ho box, ported

Sorry i meant that i won't PERMANENTLY take it off.. taking it off and reinstalling it is half the fun right? : thanks for the advice i'll definitely try that.

what is dynamated? is it that special fabric stuff that lessons vibration? how does that work?

I haven't done it with the 4Runner, but on other cars I would fill it with that expanding foam. Lightweight and it stopped the rattles.

Dynamat isn't a fabric. It is a vibration dampener that helps with rattles and also makes the bumps sound better.
