so now I sit and wait for the 3rd gen guys to install their kits! Also, in the second row domelight for the 3rd gen, make sure to move it as close to the outerwall of the dome light housing away from the switch as possible, it is a tight fit but it will fit because I have installed it on 3 local 3rd gens! I gave everyone every type of connector as spares in case you break one during installation lol So guys...I am waiting for pictures and feedback!

so i received my lights today and im wondering if i should get started now or wait and get some before pics. i mean we all know how bright our stock lights are but i havent seen anyone post pics of them yet so let me know guys. ill wait like an hour or so and if no one wants me to post stock ill go ahead and get started and have the finished product up in no time!

Just finished installing the lights as they came today. I am EXTREMELY happy with the product, the ease of installation with all of the included hardware, and the excellent customer service that came along with it.

Tuscon4runner, make sure to move the middle row domelight as far as possible away from the switch selector! It is a tight fit but it will fit in the dome light assembly of the middle row, just move it as close as possible to the passenger side door, leaving enough space for the cover to snap back on

alright well as you know im in tucson AZ and well its 6pm and the sun is still dead center in the sky so i did what i could as far as taking pics. i got one of the map lights with one led installed and one bulb but because of the sun it doesnt do the led justice so i will have pics of the map lights, center light, rear light and license plate lights as soon as it gets dark. bout 8 or 9 to be safe

yup notice that pretty quickly. i was thinking about cutting that little piece off the tape before i started but i got it in pretty well and the switch moves easily so im happy

Just a note, I added some aluminium foil to the license plate light bulb housings to squeeze out a bit more light. It's not present in these pictures, but it's installed on the final picture I have above.

It was definitely a tight fit, but I made it work. I had to remove one of the two screws that held the entire housing into the roof of the truck. Then I tried to install it as close towards the (Door, Off, On) switch as possible as the cover pivots in at the other end. It definitely makes contact and squeeze the light board, but nothing hard enough to be a concern.

Nothing broke, I'm good with my hands.

I love the extreme white color. My Dad has a 2007 Sienna parked in the garage as well, and I checked the lights out for comparison. Definitely better than the oldish, yellow ones.

And the Lexus look for the license plate lights are sexy.

as far as i can tell (still sunny outside) the lights match perfectly. didnt break any connections but was smart enough to have the screwdriver touch both sides of the light housing causing a fuse to be blown but once i got it replaced it was and extremely easy install. cant wait to see them at night!

thats a good idea ill have to take mine apart and throw some aluminum foil in there

Got mine installed today too. Everything seems to work fine. The middle row light was definitely a tight fit. The connectors didn't seeem to "snap" together as well as I thought they should, but I guess they are tight enough to not come apart. The lights were definitely much brighter than the old ones. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
