Sport Edition Moon/Sunroof

Wassup Ya'll,

Just wondering what package offered the moon/sunroof for the Sport Edition. I bought my 4R used and it didnt come with one. But I have been seeing people that have this option. What package does this come with leather, v8, third row seating, etc....

I think it's called Sport Edition Extra Value Package, with moonroof, rear spoiler, double deck, HomeLink, and auto dimming rear view mirror with compass.

I do have the spoiler and double deck. I guess I just got the value pkg and not the Extra value pkg....hehe.

Leather Seats: If you are to buy off the lot, leather is only available on the limited models. You would have to place a special order to get leather in a sport model or buy new seats later.

I noticed there are packages in the 2009 MY (maybe even 2008). The 4Runner did not come with any "packages" from Toyota to at least 2006. The regional distributors order the 4Runners with certain option combinations, which they may call certain groups of options a package. The options were available individually, though some had prerequisites, i.e. rear seat entertainment system (RSES in '06) it has to have the moonroof and JBL sound system to get it; for navigation must have HomeLink.

Leather and third row are not available from Toyota for the Sport Edition.

In my area, SR5 and SEs don't have the JBL or double decker option. Nav are mainly found on V8 Limiteds. Most, if not all 2WD are V6 SR5s only. It's all upto what the regional distributor wants to order.

The SR was a stand alone option.

Leather on a sport ed would have been a dealer only option, not a factory option.

The SR was not available with the 3rd row seating (SR5 and LTD) and 3rd row seating is not available on the sport ed.
