We have a 2002 SR5 Sport and always wondered what the Sport label meant. Her transmission just crap out yesterday with almost 300k on the clock. So now I am looking for transmission options.
Sport Edition/package. What does it mean?

I think post #3 above is a neat link for any 3rd gen owner.
however....owning a 2000 sport "highlander" it does not mention that the 99 and early 2000 left the factory standing one inch taller...thus why some people mention getting the "99 talls" if they just want a little lift ( 1 inch) also I assumed that the highlander came stock with the locker, mine has one, and so does a friend who has a 99 sport
that I wish I had money right now...he is selling his, 99 highlander sport, silver, locker and FIVE speed
