Sport Edition Roof Rack diameter?

Hey guys,

Hope you can help, what is the diameter of the tubular roof racks on 06+ Sport Editions?

Is it 1.75" or 2"?

You rock! Thanks a bunch. I didn't have calipers handy so I ran out to use a regular ruler.This morning it was 2", in the afternoon it was 1.75" like the FJs.

Most are 1.75", for the FJ cruiser. I did find one vendor, but all their stuff on their site says "backordered, check back later". The guy did say he might have some left, but haven't heard back yet.

I was hoping to get it before the recovery clinic, i'm definitely pushing time limits to get a mount before sunday so we have a hi-lift jack to use.

Oh well...

They have the jack, but not the mount.

I'm reluctant to carry them in my back seat unsecured. That's one crazy projectile in an accident.

I agree, especially in light of the "Sienna vs Avalanche" thread posted here.

I wonder if we could rig a 2" mounting clamp. Hmmmm......
