I hope toyota will introduce sport edition in the following years.
For the 4th gen sport edition is a perfect balance between utility and luxury.
For instance I don't need leather seats but I need telescopic steering wheel and heated outside mirrors, that are not available for sr5.
When I ran through specs I can see that neither sr5 nor limited is suited for me.
I don't event talk about trail edition with its crawl control and kdss.
I want sport utility vehicle that must have:
Automatic climate control
Bluetooth integration
Cloth seats
Wheels no more than 17 inches, 16 is preferred.
Running tubes (or bars)
Tilt/Telescopic steering wheel.
Fog lights
Sound system with mp3 and external usb flash capability.
I've noticed that dashboard is lcd screen, thus easy capability to switch meters to km, temperature to celsius and mpg to 100km per liter, because I don't live in USA.
Bi-Xenon-s will be god send.
And finally why they replaced all-mode 4wd with old-fashioned part-time?
I own Nissan Pathfinder 2003 SE and it's a real pain when you drive on a partly snowy road. because it may damage transmission to drive in 4hi (locked) I have to constantly switch between 2wd and 4wd and it's really annoying, besides locked front and rear tends to skid on little snow/ice. VSC will help but open center diff is better.
I think all-mode 4wd is the most practical 4wd unless you live in the area where it's snowing all-round the year.
