sport hood price

2 questions, 1) is 419 + free shipping for a painted sport hood a good price? 2) can i use the hardware - insulation, washers, latch, etc. from my 06 sr5 hood, or will i need to buy new?

I don't know if it's a good price or not, but there is an unpainted sport hood in the classified section for $150 + shipping.

yea, i saw that , thanks. but the one im looking at comes painted to match my color, so if it can just bolt right up would be great

I am also looking for a Sport hood for my 04. I tried searching the classifieds but I cant find what y'all have found.

Where are you getting yours from pre-painted?

I keep dabbing in the idea... but from my estimates I've gotten in the past, if you want genuine toyota parts, and a good paint job, a little under to in the neighborhood of a thousand.

dnhautoparts.com , they will paint any part you order. has an oem # may not truly be , but ,it would be nice to just bolt in on when it arrives. anybody know or heard about them?

ok, i ordered the sport hood today, total was 419.90 . it comes painted my color, free shipping, just have to order the scoop insert from someone else. painted, it costs 93.00 + 8 s&h .so for just over 500 total, it seems like a good deal, just have to install it myself. ill let ya all know how it works out when the weather gets a little warmer. its cold in n.j. right now.
