Sport Hood Prices

Finally found a sport hood (mint condition) off a rear ended salvaged 2001 4Runner today. The guy wanted $235 (non-negotiable)...after 2 long years of trying to find one I bit the bullet and bought it. Was this a good buy? I'm curious what others had paid for theirs. Thanks

Thats sounds pretty good to me for an OEM sport hood. I dont see many OEM ones around for sale, only the aftermarket ones.

i would only pay that if the color is right

you could easily double the price of it after all the prep and paint work on a hood that's a different color

i think its a good price if the color matches your truck.
i bought mine in delaware(90 miles from me) off a black 1999? sport for $150 in perfect shape.
perfect match for my black 2000 ltd

funny thing is....i left my original hood to the person i bought my sport hood from as i did not want to lug that thing home...swapped hoods in his driveway...lol
