What is the going rate for a choice clean original? I will be looking at an 01 that got totaled fron behind.
It has a lot of nice parts from what I can see from photos sent. It is silver with gray interior I think.

I sell mine for between $295 and $395. Most salvage yards start at around $300 for a Sport hood. If you can get it for less than that you will be in good shape. Keep in mind that the scoop insert and related parts are about $150 from Toyota.

Do you have a friend or business associate in Texas who could hold it for you?

You could always get it repainted, but the Imperial Jade Metallic from a 1999 - 2001 Sport hood is not going to be a real close match to your 1998 Evergreen Pearl.

1999: Black, Imperial Jade Mica
2000: Black, Imperial Jade Mica, Millennium Silver
2001: Black, Imperial Jade Mica, Millennium Silver
2002: Black, Thundercloud, Sunfire Red, Stellar Blue

I do not know anyone in texas who could hold it for me. I also didn't realize my '98 was a different green! LOL! Newbies....SMH.

I paid $175 for mine, but it was not an OEM one, it's an aftermarket hood that had been freshly painted black. There were a few scratches on it from the junkyard or the wreck possibly, but the fit is perfect, it has fresh paint, and I only paid $175 for it. I did drive 12 hours round trip and nearly 700 miles, but it was a fun trip. The scoop was faded, but I repainted that myself. For this price I think I pretty much stole this hood though.

Yes, the sports did come with fog lights.

We can still work out a deal on the Gray Sport hood.., maybe we can meet in Waco or somewhere like that.

Two weekends ago I drove through Dublin on my way from Brownwood to Rhome. Call or text me anytime at 979-574-2070 if you want the Thundercloud hood.

You come through Dublin! I live in proctor so your right in my territory. I am fresh out of funds though for the 4runner after housing renovations and the purchase of a new firearm.

I'm going to see it tomorrow. Any of you guys from the Florida group need parts? If I don't take the hood it will be available. Definitely want the foGs and interior silver trim pieces.

I would get the Millennium Silver Sport hood if it is OEM and $300 or under and sell it. For your 4Runner I would wait for a Thundercloud Gray Sport hood if I were you - they are out there and it will save you $250 to $300 (or more) on painting.

I'd buy it if cheap and save it for if I bought a silver one. Definitely would like to find a choice thundercloud one. I will be picking it tomorrow so anyone needing anything let me know.
