Spray-bed liner...?

Greetings all, this is my first post in this forum, pls bear with me.

I have owned a 2000 4WD SR5 T4R, a 1998 LIMITED 4WD T4R, and currently own a 2005 2WD (yea, I know, but its nice to have for what it gets used for), and I have a recently acquired 1987 4WD T4R w/ EFI.

Getting to the point, and the subject line of the post. I am preparing the '87 for new paint and was considering rolling or spraying some sort of bed liner throughout the interior behind the driver/passenger seating.

Does anyone have any recomendations on this matter, or an example of previous attempts?

I was gonna do that to my own 87 as well, but life kind of intervened so that project is onhold.

So, what kind of bike did you ride in Japan, by the way?

Herculiner works. And you can buy it at most auto parts stores or hardware stores. It comes in black, white, gray or red. You can get the kit which has rollers and brushes with it, or just the liner itself. It is about 70-140 dollars depending on the color and where you buy it. If you aren't able to coat your whole inside, they sell small quarts for small spaces. Hope this helps.

Z1000? Kewl! I ride the Z1000's great-grand-daddy, a Z-1.

Herculiner

Herculiner works awesome! I decided to do it in my 88 runner, from the front to rear. It worked really good. Looks really good too. It even works despite the fact that it rained in between the first coat and second.

I needed one of the gallon things and then a quart one too. But it cost me less than $130.

The black is kinda hard to keep clean thou, if you live where there is a lot of dust, but that would be true of any bedliner.

The hardest part of the whole thing was gutting the interior. The herculiner is really easy to roll on.

i did my truck with the rhino liner front to back and its the best thing ever. I used the "other stuff" and did the complete outside of my truck.

I did the inside and some of the out side of my 85 4runner. Love it. I used the Duplicolor stuff though.

Did you consider removing the side panels from the interior (like where the rear speakers are mounted) in order to apply the liner inside the body sheet metal?

I noticed some soft plugs inside the back body panels, possibly accessing the wires or bulb to the rear brake lights. I just noticed them and have not investigated their purpose as of yet. My first thought was a possible drain plug. I suppose it could be
