Spray tinted blinker/drl lights

I happened to buy an extra set of blinker/drl lights and sent them to this guy I have dealt with before in spray tinting tail lights and headlights. Tell me what you think!

With the DRLs on and factory bulbs. Still 100% legal.

Just as a reference the guy that did them for me can spray from light, medium, medium/dark, and dark tint. These are medium tint. I had bought the chrome/amber bulbs to put in the housings but they didn't put out enough light for my liking. In the pictures are the factory bulbs.

Looks real good!
I have an extra set too and was going to hit them with the VHT night shades spray on tint like Jesse did his rears. I wasn't going to go as dark though, maybe a medium to light.

I don't see the point. Seems making your vehicle less noticeable to other traffic is, uh, sorta less safe.

well it's just a customization, something different from the others. I did mine because I felt they stuck out with all the black surrounding them.

with the lights on there really isn't a difference as VHT Nightshades is a transparent paint, hence not making you any less noticeable when illuminated.

I did it for the same reasons Jesse has hit!

It is something different to do and they were cheap. It is alright to be indifferent. Being safe on the road is a must. My glovebox has a couple boxes of protection for just that reason. :boink:

They are 100% legal because they are still the legal amber color when in use and fully visible from a great distance. Still have amber reflectors/lights on headlight corners which legally tell a person that is the front of the vehicle.
