Had a weird thing happen when I painted my hubs caps. (I had to replace one with an aftermarket - trying to match the color among the four)
I sprayed them with primer 2x with this:

They dried nice and smooth for a few days with just the primer - So i do not think this is a primer issue. I then sprayed them with the silver paint (below) - planned a clear coat after:

THEN THIS HAPPENED almost immediately upon spraying the silver on the dry primer surface!

Crazy to watch it happen. The silver is not a textured paint. The smooth parts of the hub are exactly what I was going for.
I've never seen paint do that. Anyone know what happened here? I'm not sure - can't find anything obvious after reading labels.
