Where have you looked to find the info yourself?
What's your future plans for the vehicle?
What's your budget?
What are you going to carry back there?
The list goes on.
I did a quick search and here's a thread where the OP put out as much info as he could and the response came back well.

Yes, they were comparing two different kinds of shocks, but his original post was him giving everyone as much info as he could showing them he put in the effort.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be a d!ck. Just helping you out some. The more info you put out, the more you'll get back. That's how we like to play.

OEM 99 highlander tall coils.
I'm looking for a similar quality ride to stock, the Bilsteins HD's have that covered. Not looking to lift the T4R, stock ride height is fine, prolly 90% highway use, with a lil off-roading/summer beach-fishing activity. I plan to tow a light weight motorcycle trailer a few of times/year. I don't plan on loading up the back with much, even when I go camping.
Just trying to see what the majority of you all use, and like, without lifting or adding a harsh ride. I'm most likely replacing LBJ's and other susp components as it's circa 2002. Not looking to go cheap, nor am I racing in the Baja 1000, so good quality Springs are what I'm after, as this is a KEEPER.

Then I x2 what Jay said and go with the 99 Tall Coils. Will take care of that famous sag we all end up getting as we get older. Not all '99s had them, so find the color codes (I don't know what they are off hand) before buying just any set of coils claiming to be for a '99.
Perfect example, I've got a perfect set of "'99 Taillights" from mine. Someone local needed some and I offered them up and then they didn't look right compared to what he posted. Turns out mine were the older '98 version still so there was a bit of bleed over when they changed styles. My 4Runners came off the line in March of '99 so maybe that's why.... who knows.

Can anyone reco a good place to buy these springs new? I would like to get a deal on 'em, instead of buying from a dlr. I have the Billy's, so now I need the coils.

Sort of wanted to piggy back on this thread, since I'm in the same boat.
2002, with 215 on odo, and it looks like OEM suspension on front/rear. If its not, its got some decent miles on it since the springs are rusty/shocks and rear is starting to sag. I've read enough on the forum to see that the 99 tall springs are the way to go for myself.
I can get a sorta buddy deal from a friend of mine through this site, it shows the 4600 series shocks but does not show front or rear, is there a difference in front and rear?? or does this shock work all the way around ?
