I have been poking around on here for a few weeks and have noticed alot of spacers lifts and mostly cornfed not to knock anybody who did that lift but why? I am pricing a spring lift because I plan on a sliders and Shrockworks bumper with winch so I will need heavy springs. But the spring kits are only 400 and about 400 more for bilsten shocks. some of those spacers lifts are almost 300 if not more so why not just do springs? I did a topplate spacer which is nothing like a spring spacer and when I do the spring lift it will give me a 3/2 lift with the topplate spacer installed. Just my 2 cents and I am not trying to stir the pot just curious thats all.

I went with the spacer lift only because I got it for $100 shipped from a guy on ebay that bought it and decided it would be to hard to put on. If I was doing it over I would go with a spring lift. On the street the spacer is fine but off road I feel it limits travel. Also some spring lifts (front) you can adjust the ride height to compensate for heavy bumpers etc.
