First off I know there is a few Sprint Booster threads like this one
https://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-...elay-drive-wire.html?highlight=sprint+booster
but not so many recent new threads about the Sprint Booster.
However I wanted to make a stand alone thread about the sprint booster I ordered from Jason Burtman at Burtman Industries
I have been looking into a solution for the delay in the throttle response in my 2003 4Runner SR5 V6 with 401000 Kms. After researching for the past couple years off and on I finally decided to order a Sprint Booster and not a pedal commander, mainly due to youtube reviews and reviews on Burtman Industries
I installed last night, took me about 10 minutes, probably less to hook up. I read on here about someone really liking Sport mode setting 7 so I set and went for a test drive. WOW! What a noticeable difference in throttle response when you step on it a bit more it really is noticeable in get up and go. I feel like it shifts faster and smoother.
I also tried out race mode and its pretty cool, maybe too much for the streets but very fun. I'm very impressed with the Sprint Booster and would highly recommend to anybody for any vehicle, especially a 2003+ 4Runner.
